C. Reider
the Electret Quintet
These are experimental explorations of the textures and sounds of analogue drum machines made by C. Reider. [[who is C. Reider?]]

The intents of this project were: to use single analogue x0x (et al) machines as sound source material for each individual track -- to use those well-trodden sounds in non-standard ways -- to expand upon the ideas first explored in my earlier release Fine Failures -- to draw upon the styles of industrial, IDM, minimal-techno and noiseambient without having the work be strictly classified as any one of those styles.

The Electret Quintet will be a series of five releases, with tracks featured (more or less) chronologically in the order they were recorded.

This is a FIVE PART release, with each part to be released individually over time.
