the implicit order

The Implicit Order is Anthony Washburn, occasionally with other collaborators. He lives in Kentucky, USA, and was very active in the cassette underground of the 1990s. He has not recorded any new music for six years, but plans to begin new work soon. The Implicit Order's MySpace page.

Historically, the Implicit Order released several tapes through the limited tape-trading distribution of the cassette underground, including "Compiled", "They Live in the Sky", and "Psychic and Noetic Action", all out of print. They also released a CD on Belgium's EE Tapes (still available) called "Ethric Doubles", and a highly recommended collaborative CD release with 'kirchenkampf' on Cohort Records (also still available).

CURRENTLY AVAILABLE: Vuzh Music has re-released a collaboration between the Implicit Order and C. Reider from 1998 called "Opposing Theories". It is available for FREE DOWNLOAD here

Brand new for December 2008 is the Implicit Order's "Disposable Outcome", which is an oddsorts collection of tracks previously unreleased up until now... quite a cool bunch of weird collage and trancey drones.

The Implicit Order also has music on the three way split CD "Triple Occupancy", still available through this site, here.
